Sounds good! Don't understand why some artists charge so much for a download tho. Not a chance i'm ever paying $22.22 for a digital 25 minute album! Seen some way higher than that even.
I think the 22.22 was cause it came out 2/22. Either way, a little steep but not terrible. I remember that god fahim and mach hommy dropping super limited EPs and albums monthly for hundreds to thousands of dollars because they knew they had a small but die hard fanbase and took full advantage of that. I'm glad that trend fizzled out but artist pay still sucks
Yeah, I'm totally aware of that. I buy albums on Bandcamp every week but the value some put on their own work can be unrealistic sometimes. If I'm only getting digital content and no physical product, don't charge the same price as a vinyl record or often even more. If an EP is $5 or an album is $10 - $12 I'm much more likely to throw money down and support the artist. I do that and always buy physical if I can do. Like there's an artist called Obijuan who charges $20 / $25 for a 15 minute release? Even $300 for one release. Makes no sense to me when everything is getting so much expensive and we need to double-think what we buy. Underground music will never be something to make a living off for the most part. When streaming continues to fuck the smaller artist, paying for a download should be seen as a more positive and affordable alternate.

Delete@Napkins, because, they need to eat and live. Digital is now the medium by which they try to achieve those needs.
