For today I wanted to share a pair of releases (so much fun making those two covers fit on the top) from Audio Recon, one of which is still available for free download on their WordPress while the other is no longer available and hence fits our stringent standards of postability. However, both are great, so I figured why not make it a package deal, Red Bus 2 is offered for free so it's not like anyone's losing out.
Anyway Red Bus is a collaboration between Lorax of Cicada Shells / Echomaker and Yeti-One of The Algebraists, and possibly others but I haven't been able to find out anything definitive. But two of Indiana's finest indie emcees, rhyming over psychedelic folk rock samples make for two very enjoyable and worthy selections for the discerning indie listener's harddrive. I especially enjoy the closing track of the second EP, even if the rest wasn't dope "Let's Walk" would make your <2 minutes spent downloading totally worth it.
